Sleeping for Six to Eight Hours Best for the Heart


The benefits of getting eight hours of sleep are well-known everywhere. However, anything more or less can turn out to be harmful. As per a study presented at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Munich, both lack of sleep and oversleeping should be highly prohibited for the functioning of the heart.

According to the report, if you sleep very less and very more, both are not suitable for the proper functioning of your heart. And getting more hours of sleep influences biological process such as- glucose metabolism, irritation, blood pressure- all of which affect cardiovascular disease.

Waking up for long hours and having the odd short night is probably not going to be hindering to health, the evidence is due to daily lack of sleep or excessive sleeping should be highly avoided.

According to some studies, it is highly recommended that do not struggle with your sleep and make your night, a sleepless night for any reason. It can have a negative impact on your quality of life and also be contributing to health problems further.
