A Muzaffarpur court on Tuesday guided the Kanti police headquarters to hold up a FIR against 15 individuals related with the motion picture The Accidental Prime Minister, including performers Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna. The motion picture is set to discharge on January 11.
The bearing by the court of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (West) S Alam came after neighborhood legal advisor Sudhir Kumar Ojha argued under the steady gaze of the court that Kher and the others related with the film “had stigmatized previous Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh” and had caused a “rupture of harmony” in the public eye with arrival of the film’s trailer.
Ojha disclosed to The Indian Express, “The film seems to make an endeavor to castigate previous PM Dr Manmohan Singh. Such a film will incite just hostility, ill will and depict us in a terrible light globally.”
He said however the film depends on a book by the previous PM’s then media guide Sanjay Baru, he recorded body of evidence against just those related with the film making and not the writer.
