Kangana Ranaut’s film ‘Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi’ has again achieved a huge collection in the second week of its release, crossing the collection figure of 76 crores.
The movie made on the life of the Queen of Jhansi has collected a collection of 15 crores 50 lakh rupees in her second weekend at the domestic box office. The movie got a collection of Rs 6 crore 75 lakh on this Sunday and now the total earnings have gone up to 76 crores 65 lakhs. This movie released on the occasion of Republic Day is the highest grossing movie of this year’s first weekend. The film got a collection of 42 crores 55 lakhs in the first three days and 61 crores 15 lakh in the first week.
Manikarnika took the opening of 8 crores 75 lakh. The film has earned 50 crores in the first five days and around 26 crores in the next five days. ‘Manikarnika The Queen of Jhansi’ was released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The movie was initially released in 3000 in domestic and 700 screens overseas.
The story of Manikarnika made by the cost of 110 crores (excluding public expenditure) is written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad, the writer of Bahubali, and Radhakrishna Jagalmudi. The most important character after Kangana in this movie is Jhalkari Bai, which is played by Ankita Lokhande. Mishti Chakraborty played the role of Kashi Bani in this film.
