Chennai super king head coach Stepen Fleming hailed Mahendra singh Dhoni’s captaincy and told the media that stumper’s leadership qualities was a key point behind the team’s third title win in IPL.
Coming back to the IPL after a two year ban, Chennai defeated Sunrisers hyderabad in Mumbai to clinch their third title.
However, according to the head coach the teams victory had a hidden secret named Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Fleming also was full of praise for all rounder Shane Watson unbeaten knock of 117 to ensure a dream comeback for CSK.
Fleming also said moving to another stadium because of cauvery issue was one of the toughest decision this season for the team. The coach said the victory was a result of effortes from the whole team but did not forgot to highlight the individual performances the whole season.
“I was really happy. The last two overs from Ngidi and Shardul, I was happy because it could have been a lot more. I was comfortable with the way we bowled,” Fleming said.
