The failure of Karan Johar’s dream project ‘kalank’ has affected Karan the most. Now they are thinking of compensating for their loss. It is heard that now they have decided to cut their next budget film ‘Takht’.
I am so excited and honoured to announce the lead cast of #TAKHT@RanveerOfficial #KareenaKapoorKhan @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @psbhumi #JanhviKapoor @AnilKapoor #HirooYashJohar @apoorvamehta18@sumit_roy_ @hussainhaidry pic.twitter.com/ifgb8RC7uV

According to sources, ‘The damage to the producers of the stigma was due to the mega-budget of the film, which was more than Rs.150 crores. Making a profit for a big budget movie has become a huge gamble. Karan has now decided to keep the expenses on ‘Takht’ at least.
On the other hand, Ayan Mukherjee’s directed film ‘Brahmastra’, which is under the banner of Karan, has also stepped above the budget. This film was to be released in the first of August and later in December this year but now it will be released next year. The film’s VFX work is still incomplete and it is a big budget movie whose budget is increasing with every passing day.
